When you think of Kenya, you think of safaris, white coral beaches, blue sky, palm trees, sun, fun.

But there is another Kenya, a Kenya you don't see,
a Kenya you don't hear about.

This is the Kenya where people die of starvation, lack of water, water borne-diseases, HIV/AIDS,

This is the Kenya where people die of preventable diseases like malaria and cholera, where people are still affected by polio, tuberculosis.

This is the Kenya where people, usually children, have to walk miles to collect water. When they have got it, it is not fit for drinking.

Working with local organisations such as Kenyan Community Support Initiative, we work to raise awareness of the problems of people who are having difficulty with the basics of life in Africa. We help the poorest people to lift themselves out of poverty through various projects. We do not give hand-outs. We look for a ways to help people to help themeslves.

In the UK, we raise money to help to fund the work of KCSI and other organisations in Africa with whom we work.

About 40% of the population of Kenya is under 15 years old?
125 out of every 1,000 children born in Kenya will not attain 5 years of age?

We are what John Humphreys would call a "kitchen table charity".
We don’t pay salaries, we don't have smart offices, air-conditioned Land Rovers or funds to spend on expensive advertising.
Every penny goes on projects to help people in need, but we struggle to survive because we simply can’t afford to do everything we need to.
